Skin Song

Lyrics (The words)

Allan Caswell has generously allowed Cancer Council Australia and SunSmart to share this song. This links to the SunSmart website, provided by Cancer Council Victoria. As well as the SunSmart message (although there is one thing missing), the song reminds us that even though we may look different (shape and skin colour) we are really the same and need to respect everyone.

SunSmart TV ad

The first SunSmart television advertisements featuring Sid the Seagull started in the 1980s. The slogan at that time was 'Slip, slop, slap'. As more about the damage caused by UV became known, the slogan progressed to 'Slip, slop, slap, wrap.' The current version was introduced in the early 2000s. It is included with permission of Cancer Council South Australia.

SunSmart Countdown Song

Lyrics (The words)

The SunSmart Countdown Song is a great way to remember the five things that we need to do to be  safe in the safe in the sun. The 'slip, slop, slap, seek and slide' message is matched to a countdown from 5 using a bright and happy tune. It is included with permission of SunSmart and Cancer Council Victoria.

Stop The Clock

Stop the Clock  is on the Oswego City District, new York, USA, website. It provides students with activities at different levels in which they have to match the digital time with the analogue time. You need to scroll down the page as the links are towards the bottom.
